Is “slept” supposed to indicate she still thinks she’s dreaming? If so, it could be clearer. Feels a bit non-sequitur. Or is this just the wrong word here?

Wow. She really held her own for someone in her first scrap, especially with multiple attackers. She desperately needs to clean up her wounds and get water before she gets sick though. But she’s doing great so far! Are any of these innkeeper buffs going to kick in soon?
