Also, I love that you really REALLY double down on the fact that “no, this is absolutely a new world for Erin.” With all the things that she’s observing. The sky, the clouds, the trees, the plains, and even the time, it’s interesting.
But also, Erin has some difficulty remembering what month it is huh ? so does that mean that she doesn’t go out of her house? Or that she’s basically shut off from the entire world if she doesn’t even remember what month it was.

Not a typo per se, but it’s odd to see Erin starting off thinking of “Humans” with capital H. It might work better to get her to start thinking that way after encountering other thinking species .. who are not trying to kill her.
