Kids have funny memories. He remembers peeing on doors and not traditions and politics. All the other city and plains cubs barrel their way around, not really paying attention to adult stuff. Mrsha’s an exception.

I taught my daughter to ride horses as a toddler. Steering on her own and everything. But then my horse died and we moved… life happened so she didn’t ride a few years, and she completely forgot everything she knew about them, even my 23yo she rode every day’s name. But she remembers eating dandelions and making a whole bunch of recipes out of it the same year. She remembers the creek we always rode to but not HOW to ride to get there.

They’re pick-and-choosy. I take lots of videos and scrapbook to help them remember.

My 5 year old figured out how to do that ONE move very well. His dad doesn’t go easy on him playing games. It was fun to watch him win one fight all on his own.

It happens every 20 years. Pretty sure it has never been referenced as every 10. The remarks for 10 years is generally either how long the gnolls have been in Liscor (for the majority of them) or how long ago the 2nd Antinium War was.

Gnollmoot is Erin’s term foe the Meeting of the Tribes. A moot is an old term for a gathering/discussion.

I’d have to disagree with the first part. Baseball is quite popular in a number of countries, not just the US. Maybe not Kazakhstan, I dunno, but certainly more than “exclusively” the US.

But, beyond that, the sound of a baseball being hit really is quite distinctive. I hate sports, never watch them on television, and have only ever seen a single game of baseball played in person – but I could 100% pick out the sound of a bat hitting a baseball if I heard it. If Inkar had TV at all, and saw the game being played for even a short time, she could probably do the same.
