I want to smack them across the head every time they speak.

I’m not 100% sure on these typos, but I’m leaving them here just in case

I look forwards to tendering my greetings to Emperor Godart.

Forwards -> forward

The closer that Grev had smuggled to him

Closer -> closest

The thing with the lighthouse one flat world wouldn’t be quite true, depending on how large the sea was. Even on a flat world, light would still suffer from atmospheric diffusion. You’d be able to see it from much farther away than on a curved planet, but unless it was using a laser pointed right at you, at some distance a normal light source would be too obscured to see.

I would find it far more likely the Demons – with all their various species – would rather just be left alone to exist on Rhir in peace. At least as much peace as can be had with the sleeping god under the continent.

We know people trade with them, so they should have decent access to coasts. Yet, we’ve seen no indication that the Demons ever really try to leave Rhir.

The Demons have undoubtedly committed atrocities, but the evidence we have seen so far points pretty well towards the Blighted Kingdom starting the war with the Demons, to which people like Silvenia objected. And the Blighted Kingdom seems set on doing whatever they feel is necessary to win, including the deaths of thousands, possibly millions of unborn children to kidnap people from another world that have no reason to fight their stupid war, and maybe tear holes in the fabric of the world.

I believe it is only Aaron and Laken that accepted the dead gods’ aid last solstice. Luan had one appear, but specifically said he was glad he didn’t accept their hand.

It seemed like they only appeared before people that were alone on the solstice, so most of the Earthers should be relatively safe. The only other one I can think of offhand that was definitely alone (assuming she was actually on Innworld at the time) would be Inkar. Everyone else we’ve seen has had at least one other Earther nearby.

His “teacher” was already mentioned previously, though very little. It’s one of the Dead Gods, Emerhein (I think that’s how it’s spelled).
