It’s implied that Az did it. By stopping the combustion of the air? That’s how Flos speculated to Trey on how to stop Earth weapons.

I assume something to do with that one off dream state Erin had where she saw an elf in a mystical forest with the coffin or something will become relevant again? I can’t believe I have a reason to be grateful to the Necromancer, but it’s nice to see some mercy in him. Pawns class change is a bit concerning as that might be putting him more in line with what the sleeping God would want right?

Numbtongue was neither healed nor resurrected by Laken – Laken simply ordered him to live.

While Numbtongue was close to death, it is unlikely he was bleeding badly at that point – it would have taken Laken probably hours to make his way blindly across the whole battlefield – so if he was going to bleed out, he would have done it. He was just at the point where he would have died without assistance, which Laken’s Skill provided.

Assuming Laken had been there within those few minutes after.Erin was shot, his Skill might have been able to halt the bleeding and forced her to stay alive. But right now, she’s at a point where Skills can’t affect her, so it would be useless.

Sounds like you must have skipped over reading the dozen times Geneva has complained about how healing potions have made the world stupid. Or the other dozen or references throughout the story about how no one seems to know anything besides “slap a healing potion on it” in regards to everything.

This is just mob mentality. A.few hundred probably went for Erin herself – the ones she affected the most – and a few thousand just wanted revenge on some stupid shitbags that tried to murder people for a small insult. Thousands more saw those people forming an army, and decided that all the pressure of the last year – giant monster hordes, a siege of the city, crelers, etc. – needed to be released, and joined in so they could go punch some idiots.

Very few in any were probably expecting any major resistance to show up.

That many people probably didn’t really march for Erin, specifically. Maybe a few hundred, at best, the people she had touched the most.

However, the problem is mob mentality. Maybe only 200-300 went for Erin herself, between all the cities. But then another 1,000-2,000 went because they’re patriotic, and you don’t attack their city and/or friends – and unlike the Bloodfeast Raider attack, there is a definite enemy to get revenge on, and these people have been beaten and kicked around enough that they’re sick and tired of it.

And then you have thousands more that see all of those forming an army, and think, “Yeah, we’ve had tons of shit happen to us, time to beat down some other fools. This isn’t a giant monster attack. This isn’t the dungeon unloading horrors, or a swarm of crelers. This is stupid, shitbag people who just attacked us for no good reason, and now we can go punch them in their shitbag faces.”
