And oh, the hatmen of the brothers were on a break. But they specifically said they’d leave someone at the end. So there are 1 or 2 brothers who aren’t helping or doing anything while Erin wanders off to liscor? Cmon now.

Will say, it is the mark of a great story and author that I still get this worked up over it.

I’m sorry, but there is little sense to how she gets injured other than for the shock value of it all. No dangersense, walks around the corner of the inn (for what reason? The road leads up the hill to the front. She’s returning from liscor. Decides to go around why? Decides not to use the door lmao) Misses the sounds of bird/badarrow fighting and doesn’t hear Lynette shouting even tho close enough to walk around and get shot.

It’s a bizarre set up. I dearly wish we could fund a rewrite. It’s necessary for later events sure, need her an ice cube, fine. The way it happens is just ridiculous and takes me completely out of the story.

I predict Maviola will trade her life somehow and be what brings her back. Something to do with her fire skills complemented by Erin’s current cryo-preservation. If she is truly gone from the story, I am very intrigued how the narrative continues without her, what a great chapter!

The Fae do not interfere in mortal matters.

Arrowguard ring and the bracelet hedault made for the bike.
2) So she just saw the conflict and decided to walk into it?
3) They could have cauterized the wound to stop the bleeding. Heat metal with spells or Apista. Can pawn’s miracle cures poisons? It would buy time for Xrn anyway, can Xrn teleport?
4) Honestly they should have had multiple packs of the staffs blood on hand in case shit happens. Given the danger the Inn goes through, that’s not too paranoid to do. Plus the blood would keep with the Preservation Field.

And it hits so hard every time.
