But there was only too so long she could drag out the conversation.

I mean fierce is a special case in that the silver in her body got removed, all the other vamps can’t get rid of it without some manufactured cure. Wouldn’t be an issue until maybe newborn vamps are raised without silver, which would take many years and by thst time they should have a good source of animals to raise that aren’t silver poisoned to have as much blood as needed

Seeing numbtongue noticing some familiar features in fierre (red eyes, pointy teeth) made me wonder if vampirism in innworld is part of the same phenomena

Having blood on your clothes is going to be different than eating it. For one thing, the smell would be coming from places it normally wouldn’t be – you generally wouldn’t expect blood to be on peoples’ legs or arms, unless maybe they were in a fight. Presumably, Fierre isn’t just splashing blood on her clothes when she drinks it, and not spilling it would be something a vampire probably learns early on. Barring accidents, she shouldn’t be having random blood on herself for gnolls to smell.

For another, lots of drakes and gnolls, at the very least, seem to enjoy meats that are kept pretty rare – meaning they’d be eating blood fairly regularly. Blood can also be used for other types of food, as well. So her simply drinking blood by itself wouldn’t really create that much different of a smell than anyone else.
