Silver is named as one of the noble transition metals. It can be made to ionise, and into solution with nitrates. With hydroxide or insides, it precipitates at very low concentrations, and the precipitates accumulate to rather large sized clumps of dark metals oxide stuff. Ryoka did well doing that and recognising the dark tarnished silver oxide precipitate. Maybe some citrate might assist with chelate treatment.

The blood fields drink blood. That makes them competitors, not allies.

Not to mention apes or monkeys have not been mentioned in any zoo, perhaps they went extinc cuz they were mundane?

well, what else, seems increadibly out of characther for magnolia the bitch to just put under the rug that tyrion came on her hour of need. And made way to the planned meeting with the drakes.

also vampire wars, lol, the plot starting to brew a new thing!, and tyrion the dude keeping ears on terandrian politicks and what else from the rest of the world… does not know about the door and possibly connection with the supa alchemist trans drake? pff.

I mean, he did warn her that it wouldn’t fix the root problem. Telling her the exact problem would be interfering more than he wanted to do.

In a way, she’s right it is cruel. Teriarch or others could have completely eradicated vampires. Instead, he lets them be slowly tortured generation after generation.

Vampires may not deserve to be treated like they are innocent and all is forgiven. But neither do they deserve to be slowly poisoned to death.

Her blood is missing levels.

Back after she was just cured, Fierre was heavily attracted to the high level assassins and gang members that joined the carriage ride.

Himilt also hints that her taking blood from Ryoka should be fine once. It’s quite likely that true vampires drain levels from people they feed on. That would be how you get someone like Magnolia’s predecessor who was a vampire that had levels, even though vampires themselves can’t level. It would also make them extremely dangerous to other living beings, since they would not only get stronger by defeating strong enemies, but would actively make those enemies weaker if they survived.

That’s why Ryoka’s blood is only okay, since it has no silver and is fresh blood not from an animal. But, it would be like the difference between an unseasoned hamburger – not bad, but not fantastic – and a well-cooked, immaculately seasoned steak.

I could see it not being easy at all to get ahold of something that would work. Whatever this poison is seems to be kind of a mirror of what the silver is doing to the vampires: it’s not the poison itself (or the silver) that is killing the kids, but rather the symptoms and secondary effects cuts that it creates. It’s not a poison meant to kill outright, but to essentially make the body slowly kill itself. Thus, purging the poison could not only be extremely difficult, but may not work unless the secondary effects are also dealt with.

That being said, even if Tyrion ends up forced to sign the contract, I don’t think he’d end up as a big bad. Rather, once his kids were cured, I think he would turn everything he possibly could to eradicating the Circle of Thorns without doing anything directly himself. Call in every single favor he has, possibly even turn to his enemies for help. So long as he informed a few people about the Circle before he signed the contract – I.e. Jericho and Ullim – he could bypass the third clause pretty easily.
