I’ve been reading for months and continue to be deeply moved. I love the morality, the agency, the reality of your writing. Your characters decision making feels so real and consistent and I adore it and you. Thank you for the art you create pirateaba. It’s helped me live.

Logically, goblins should override half-elves. There has to have been at least a few half-elves captured and raped by goblins over the many thousands of years of Innworld history. Yet, there seem to be no mention of half-elves living among goblins.

Either they can’t reproduce at all between the two species, or goblins immediately kill such children, because someone would have eventually noticed such a thing happening eventually. Otherwise, the pairing just breeds goblins like normal.

I could see most named rank teams being higher level, but not Arcsinger. She got her status purely from killing Velan, and it was remarked that she was only silver ranked at the time, so not very high level.

It’s also been hinted at pretty strongly that her team is extremely specialized against only goblins, and that they aren’t really that impressive otherwise.

Killing the Goblin King probably got her a nice chunk of levels, but if all her team goes after is goblins, all of which are affected massively by her goblin fear aura, she would essentially face zero challenges and wouldn’t level quickly. I could see her being significantly lower level than Elia.

It makes sense that noble and royal classes would consolidate easier. A good ruler not only knows what their people do, but also has experience doing those things themselves. Thus, virtually every class should be able to consolidate into a ruler class, especially ones that are heavily represented by the people living under a given ruler.

Sure, that’s all well and bad, but what about the Humans who killed Goblin children? Where’s the justice for them?

Tormek does not mean anything in Swedish; at a guess I would say the company name is probably short for e g “Torshälla mekaniska verkstad” ( = the mechanical workshop in Torshälla) or something similar, although there are quite a few places with names beginning in Tor- that it could be referring to. Well, either that or the founder was named Tor himself.

So far there have been nothing but Minus Points toward Erin. Here a List:

1) Erin taking down, HARD, a riot made up of angry Invrisil citizens, to save the [Lords], in Chapter 7.31!

2) Threatening economically Invrisil’s Runner’s Guild, in Chapter 7.32 D!

3) Harbouring a Monster/Goblin (Nolocks) who killed [Guards] and citizens on his way. Doesn’t help that he killed a child as well, even if by the end Erin and Numbtongue let Invrisil side go after him.

These were direct Minus Points toward Erin. Now for some indirect Minus Points that Invrisil can use on her. Here a List:

1) Erin having a negative relationship with [Lady] Magnolia, who is practicable the ruler of Invrisil.

2) Economically Helping by Trading with the [Lords] from Chapter 7.31, while Invrisil citizens are still poorer from The Golden Triangle.

3) Erin allowing Goblins (Monsters), Antinium (another type of Monsters) and Necromancers (not much different from a Monsters) in her Inn, and protecting them. (The “Monsters” part comes from Invrisil’s citizens point of view.)

4) Erin overall negative reputation, the same one Celum’s [Mayor] had used to banish her from the city, in Chapter 7.07.

5) Forced (with Magnolia Skill) to pay for the Magical Door from Invrisil side. The other locations have to pay as well but they are not forced with a Skill to do so.

6) What ever she had or was going to do, when a [Druidess] accidentally kidnapped Mrsha, in Interlude – A Meeting of [Druids]. Hopefully this one does not count.

As you all can see, there is much reason to worry about Erin with Invrisil having apply reason to not like her. For now I assume that Erin may have a hard time like shops selling her overpriced products or outright not at all, to having dirty looks and bad rumours pointed at her.

Some other more serous problems would be Invrisil’s Watch not helping her when she is in serous trouble, and the Runner’s Guild not delivering requests to and from Erin and her Inn.

Still I am more worry about Erin walking alone in the city. That she may be attacked and no one helping her, or that they actually help the attackers.

I really Hope that Erin can provide some Pulse Points to Invrisil that outweighs the Minus Points, like a disaster hits the City and Erin saves it in one way or the other. At least the Players of Celum can be considered an indirect Pulse Point.

Dragonlover is right, it started with 16 and then went down to 15.

16:
A group of sixteen Ogres approached Rags …

… Every Ogre turned to the sixteen. …

15:
… the female Ogress and the fourteen others …

… The fifteen Ogres pledged to …

Thought it might require getting a Memory that had version of the class or skill of the class in question.

Important in the sense that class levels make all the abilities of the class better, as seen with the magic juggler who could also capture spells. Though Numbtongue would probably require getting familiar with a Gambler goblin since so far he has no memories of non-goblins.

It is possible that if Erin were to die that he could “sidegrade” into a generic Soulbard, or upgraded class that allows for non-goblin memories. Though that would depend on how her takes it since as we have seen, classes and class upgrades depend and change on the person and their feeling about the matter.
