Mrsha’s inner dialogue has frequently, more than frequently, been exactly like this. As was mentioned a couple of chapters ago druids are RUDE. She’s prone to petty aggressiveness towards anyone who doesn’t revolve around her. She has more than once done something that endangers lives of people who piss her off. And omg the poor rats Have you been reading a different story entirely?

he fought, he lost, hopefully he wont rest.

im blueballed the yvlon parent meeting.

letters, letters sound stupid, point. Simply put, magick communication would render magic scribes useless, then again, i have not yet begin in earnest the working force, and see how often do people use the fax. ah well, it was still homework when i was in school, to make one, have not made one since then, beside electronic means.

Seriously, it was noted at least twice, specifically, that the adventurers ran away first, even compared to other mercenaries.

It was also noted multiple times that adventurers generally never participate in wars, so that isn’t terribly surprising. But Perric seems like a rather huge narcissist and egomaniacal king. None of his responses, from sending adventurers that don’t want to war into war, to how he tries to dictate how the war should be run, to how he thinks another king isn’t using the adventurers properly, surprises me in the least.

Accents would be a pretty natural occurrence. Look at somewhere like Japan, where even a relatively small area of people all speaking the same language developed multiple different accents. Unlike somewhere such as the US, which had influences from tons of other languages as immigrants came over, Japan was quite insular and xenophobic for a long, long time, but they still developed.

Most accents likely aren’t remarked upon because everyone in Innworld speaks English, and different races add more of a difference to speech than almost any accent. Other than perhaps the most extreme cases, a gnoll adding growls and yips is probably going to be more different sounding than any accent. Same with drakes and lizardfolk adding some hissing noises.

Also I love themed chapters like this. Connecting all the stories with letters is neat.

I was under the impression that they were already dead and killed but their will was carrying them on. Flos didn’t die at all. It seems more like he’s a selphid.
