good chapter, verily circunvent.

And a named adventurer, a gnoll tribe, the greatest muscle mage in the world, the grand strategist of Palass, and probably a wall lord of Salazsar as well.

I’m assuming that the gnoll from Izril’s Wonders that appeared during the meeting of druids is the wanderer. It’s circumstantial evidence at best, but not only the name is close, the timeline fits oddly well. This story happened during the protests, two random “tourists” appear a but after I’m the inn? “(…) my company takes people to each Walled City”? Sure, credible story dude. You’re not gonna “take them” to other walled cities for any other reason I’m sure. Either way, I think they got a taste of what kind of niceties the inn gets with that chapter, and how Lyonette is protective. Gonna be interesting to say the least.

Oh yeah probably, asides from pulling down the wrath of at least three gold-rank teams upon her head.

If only they knew Mrsha is probably one of the best guarded doombringers in the entire world.

I believe the point was, if a gnoll can be born with white fur, and thus be a Doombringer from birth, then it isn’t actually caused by losing their tribe. Losing one’s tribe and having your fur turn white would be a correlation, but not a causation – there must be some other factor at play that causes Doombringer status.

Plus, when you think about it, if there are at least 4 Doombringers in Salazar alone, and they knew about larger groups of Doombringers being out there, that’s a LOT of eradicated gnoll tribes in a fairly short span of time. Having the cause be something different would make a lot of sense.

Realistically, she probably would have pulled it off just fine. The “only” issue was that there were multiple other bounties available at the same time, and she wanted them all. Had she gone after Mrsha, and only Mrsha, without focusing on killing/kidnapping Erin, stealing the door, and eventually taking out Relc due to the Golden Triangle stuff, it would have been a pretty easy snatch n grab.
