She has an absolute aversion to sex, to the point that she doesn’t even like when others do it. If she isn’t just aromantic/asexual, is there any chance she had a significant other on Earth left behind?

After 7 volumes, I wouldn’t think that would be a twist here but who knows. People are really noticing her aversion. Shame Lyonnette didn’t try to chat with Ryoka more about it, I could have sworn I remember her wishing Ryoka was there for this exact reason earlier this volume.

16?

rate-of-catastrophes compared to what, it is everyday that something wants you dead in that world, to make it interesting for the readers but that sounds out of place,

well the rest of the chapter is perfect, dunno why do we have to endure the sexual life of the charachters.

She has been gone for how long and finally she comes back and sleeps with one of Erin’s best friends who happens to be almost double her age, who is also like a cool uncle to Marsha? Some one she has only spent a total of like 2 whole days with? This is the same character who is to scared to be with Fierre because she doesn’t want to ruin their friendship but will sleep with Relc who plays a huge role in both Erin and Marshas life? Make it make sense to me. Explain this to me like I have the mental acuity of someone who isn’t the mental equivalent of an angst filled teenager. Does pirate just have a hat full of names that they randomly choose from to figure out who will sleep together next? Wtf is happening this arc? We went from engaging stories with characters with believable flaws to mandatory pairings that make absolutely no sense in terms of character development and story arcs.

Funny how it only works out that way with gay relationships.

Pawn was explicitly stated to use a strap-on, so his lack of genitalia doesn’t matter.

Relc is quite a bit younger than Ryoka’s father. He’s in his late 30’s, having had Embria when he was fairly young. Ryoka’s dad is likely in his 50’s or even older.

No, that ring entitles her to nothing even close to that status. It was a show of respect, but nothing more.

Even if it somehow did make her a Wall Lady, the Wall Lords/Ladies of Salazar aren’t really at the level of nobility that Magnolia Reinhart is. They would likely be more on the level of Bethal, or Pryde: strong nobles, but still a step below the highest. The only comparable drake nobles to Magnolia would likely be the Dragonspeaker of Manus, the First Gardener of Oteslia, and maybe a similar position at Zeres or Fissival if they have one.

Her glory fire is bittersweet because of what it reminds her of: the chess club putting up a glorious defense for her that got most of them killed; the goblins rallying to her and fighting against the Goblin Lord, even though it ended with thousands of them dying; the painted soldiers joining that same fight to protect her and cut a path to Reiss, which ended with all of them dying; Numbtongue helping to save Liscor, and the glory of the goblins being spit upon by the city not even letting him enter; Bird helping to kill a bunch of wyverns, and nearly getting killed just for walking into a city.

Basically, ever memory of glorious deeds she has is tainted by death or threats of death.

As far as her views on sex, I don’t think she hates it, necessarily. More of she’s the type that treats sex as being extremely special and intimate and private. Not everyone is comfortable talking about sex, and many feel casual sex is either outright bad, or at least super risque.

While none of that is bad inherently, the problem Erin has is that she tries to push her views and morality onto other people. A lot of the time, that works out fine, since she does have a decent set of morals, even if they aren’t perfect or always practical. For other things, is just seems pedantic and prude.
