Capstone levels (10-multiples) take significantly more experience than other levels do.

[spoiler title=”Maybe spoiler:”] They also tend to take a change in perspective , especially at higher levels. So someone could be stuck and like 39, 49, 59, etc. for a very long time, if they can’t accumulate both experience and that change in perspective. This is also why class changes/consolidations tend to happen at these levels, because you have to fundamentally view yourself as different than you used to be in order to progress. [/spoiler]

She’s gotta be one of the highest-leveled Earthers already (except maybe the Rhir heroes?)

makes me wonder how the leveling system truly works. Is “XP” really a valid concept here? The way certain classes level up, like [Maids] seems to imply as such, but others seem more achievements or feats based, like [Hero] or [Last Survivor]

It’s well written character development, is what it is. I think Pirate must really enjoy writing form her PoV.
