Doubt they are the only ones alive. Even if you assume 1,000 of those occurred during the start of the creler outbreak, 268 teams over 6,000 years would still be one every 22ish years. Could easily be 2 or 3 other teams that would still be alive, at that rate.

I doubt that it is a heritage class, likely it is just a variant of the Armsmistress class, which would likely not usually be unlocked by having metal embedded in your arms before killing a powerful creature. Silversteel is just what her armor was made of before it melted into her. It is possible, however, that this variant has never been gotten before.
