“You too. I’ll look for you in on the road.”
Should be: “You too. I’ll look for you on the road.”

To behold Cognita was to see art come to life. Eight feet tall, carved of pure white stone, finer than even marble, Cognita looked like the height of perfection, a statue of a woman made beautiful beyond belief. And yet, she had a quality that went beyond even statues, for she was alive. The folds of her dress, sculpted of stone, moved as she walked, and the stone of her body moved like flesh and cloth.

Cognita is truly a hypnotising character, though she appears rarely she has vast influence on the world, and I just want to learn more about her.

Ryoka stared at Gralton. He was a different man with animals. Her, he stared at, with a lot more intelligence than she’d been led to expect.

In a few paragraphs my opinion of Lord Gralton has risen by a lot.

Ryoka stared at Madain, open-mouthed with horror. Then she turned and sprinted out of the inn. Levil looked at Madain.

“But she’s okay. Fierre, I mean?”

“Oh, sure. Right as rain. Probably had some good healing potions. Way I heard it, she has some high-level defensive Skill. But she’s totally fine.”

“You could have told Ryoka that.”

Mad Madain grinned at Levil.

“So?”

Calling him Mad is right, that’s way over the line for a joke!

Pretty sure you made a similar comment a number of.chapters ago, and the answer is the same: her being Asian is a relevant characteristic. The Drathians seem to be similar to what might be Asians, but even that has only been noted as a “resemblance.” Otherwise, she looks significantly different to virtually all other humans around. With the exception of Drath and Chandrar, all humans depicted have basically been Caucasian, more or less.

Ken and Aiko get the same thing usually, because, again, it’s a notable characteristic. Just as Luan often gets remarked for his extremely dark skin, which is darker than even Chandrarians.

Hell, even most drakes and lizardfolk get described by their scale color for the same reason.

Erin and the others don’t need to be stated to be white, because that is the default assumption for any human in Innworld.

It would also do the adult dogs good to get away from the kennels, and go to people that will take care of them. Sitting around that much death of their fellow dogs would not be healthy mentally, especially with some dogs still actively dying a slow, painful death.

Also I love Mousey and if anything happens to her I will go mad.

I noticed that too, but do consider that the Ryoka chapters are scattered, therefore it is only easy to notice when we are reading in bulk.

Green lives matter… But not to the Goblin slayer!

I was looking for this comment. I worried I would be the only one.

I sincerely hope that it is a reference. It would be even cooler if Pirate Aba made more references to him or his party. I do hope it doesn’t turn out to be another antagonist. Or as someone mentioned, an earthling pretending to be the goblin slayer. We don’t need another goblin killer, there are enough already.
