Accused of petty thievery and necrophilia.

They added that last part in just to mess with him, didn’t they?

Then, two chapters later he uses it to fight the Wistram mages. I think he used [flaming rapier].

Anywayyyyy thanks for an amazing chapter

They would absolutely know what plumbing and pipes are. They have sewers, and there has been mention of actual toilets existing in the world. Pallass has water literally moving up to the top floors of the city, which is almost certainly going to require piping in order to work.

Pipes and plumbing have been around for about 6,000 years on Earth. That’s way, way before the comparable time period Innworld is at. They would definitely have plumbing and pipes.

It’s quite possible it wasn’t really a barrier meant to stop much from getting through, but more to keep out contamination and such. Think of like a bubble of air pressure. Not impossible for a person to push through, but stuff like bugs or small animals would be kept away, and even curious lookyloos would be deterred unless they really wanted in.

The first part is correct, the second isn’t.

Auras are mainly instinctual, and require force of will to use, which is why they don’t always require a Skill for someone to have an aura.

However, Lyonette did explicitly say that training to use your aura helps. And, as we can see in Erin’s case, she really does need that training to be able to use it effectively in tense situations, such as combat.
