In a story a broad as twi, there will always be characters that a reader hates that others love, and as a story progresses they may well flip that opinion.

I’m on a reread, hated these wistram cucks when I first read this year’s ago and even tho I’m caught up and have the full picture, I still hate them lol

The characters are why this story will always be a top 5 for me. Good, bad, and ugly, the cast of twi covers them all.

author knows how to write hatefull things innnit, bloody hek fucking mages shitty wizzards, not happy till they all die gruesome deaths, and the horns, we get fucking chapters despicting that they are pretty good fighters, but of course one was a brawl with pity silver adventurers, and ksmr fighted a bunch of peasant bandits, not to mention they were the agressors, being attacked out of the blue, an ambush always put you on the spot, but regardless, u would think theyd have mental protection, or some charms, a way to scream for help, but the team of mages was toooooooooooo prepared, fuck no, i dont like it and i suppose thats the goal. And then we are hit with the clasic of stealing erins door and erins herself. well lets see if next chapter gives me the catharsis i need. tfc

Considering selphids can still use a body that has its limbs and head cut off, snapping a few bones wouldn’t do much. The spell he was using doesn’t disintegrate the bones, just snaps them – which, when done on the neck, seems to break the animation spell. That would do almost nothing against a selphid, since they can bypass such a break easily.

What might, possibly, be effective would be crushing the rib cage inwards, and hoping that’s where the selphid’s real body is.

In reply to Vento. It hasn't been artificially festering by spells, but by Beatrice. Montressa had a crush on Pisces, at the very least, so his "betrayal" of being a necromancer would hit twice as hard for her, due to how Terandria views necromancers after Az'Karesh. It would be super easy for Beatrice to influence Montressa into an ongoing, extreme hatred of Pisces beyond what she had initially felt (she wasn't nearly so antagonistic towards him even by the very end of the Wistram Days chapters).

Far better than muscles which turns to fat in no time -> EITHER: muscle which turns to fat OR muscles which turn to “So you are from Wistram?” -> should probably be “So you aren't from Wistram?” given what he's replying to ("If I’d have transferred to Wistram, people wouldn’t remember you at all.”) makes it sound like the other person did not transfer to Wistram
