Pretty sure Amerys had nothing to do with it. So long as Nsiia had a personal mage that could do Messages, and didn’t go through the Mage’s Guild, Flos could have sent a short Message directly to her without too much chance of interception. It’s usually only when utilizing the Mage’s Guild, or unethical mages that will pass a Message on, that Wistram tends to get a hold of it.

Beings such as Teriarch might be able to intercept a Message if they are more or less in the path between the sender/receiver, but I don’t think even he would be able to just pull a message out of thin air from another continent, without some sort of focus there.

They would be skills, but when referring to the actual Skill itself it would be [Unit: Dreamers of Reim] or such. You don’t need to always use the brackets when talking about the groups themselves, just as we’ve seen on about a hundred occasions for Laken’s Darksky Riders (though I believe that has been a typo on nearly every occasion, as they were originally called the [Unit: Blacksky Riders]).

“And Reim, like it’s [King], laughed for a moment in the rain.”

–like its [King]…

for him to spit discretely into. -> discreetly

Then he held one and hand out, as if gesturing -> held one hand out

damaged in a fight before she’d return to Reim -> returned

“she was his teacher and he her sometimes reluctant pupil.”

“sometimes reluctant” should be “sometimes-reluctant”.

“eighty three” should be “eighty-three” x2. The third one already has the hyphen.

Japan did the same in ww2. Instead of surrendering to the soviets who destroied their 1 million+ army in a week, they surrendered to the americans. And yes, it is clever.

No. This series has very few cliffhangers compared to the vast majority of series ever written.

I was expecting she will make Flos her successor and then either kills herself, or makes a suicide attack, effectively making her people his people.
That way she could force his hands even if he refuses.
