I just got to this chapter 6 years later but it makes sense. The fiancee made a deal with belavierr and the witch took her daughter as part of the deal. The fiancee spent 10 years of her life trying to find belavierr and the witch killed her for trying to break the deal. Ser reim never knew his fiancee was pregnant before marriage and is just chasing the witch for killing his love.

No siri does work for basic things on newer iPhones like opening apps or making reminders offline, as long as they don’t require WiFi.

say how come laken or company had jailing carriages, im not sure there was slavery in izrill, and bending metal might not be that hard with people with skillz, which i dont think theyd have in hand when out of a siege.

Except you seem to forget he did have a trial – the showing of his crimes was explicitly allowed by Prost as evidence in said trial.

At best, she could be considered to have rendered the verdict prior to.it being given. But even for that, Prost says he would have ordered the same thing done, or even done it himself – just not in front of the children.

So there was both a trial and approval of the state (though approval was given after the fact).

“Accordingly, they were often the most senior, [Knights] who had passed through all four seasons or abandoned their old season as they aged.”

–> Accordingly, they were often the most senior [Knights] who had…” (no extra comma)

“Around fifty four days since we really began moving.”
“Thirty seven since I could sit”
“Twenty one since the wagon drivers”
“He’s played it fifty three times.”
“She was a [Summer Knight], twenty eight, and a full member of her Order.”

Numbers need hyphens.

“It was more like a ten-foot deep pit.”

I think this should be “ten-foot-deep”.

Blind people typically access iPhones by using VoiceOver, which is a screen reader, separate from Siri. I’m assuming Laken turned VoiceOver off before letting the goblins use the phone, otherwise he would have heard exactly what they were doing instead of having to strain his imagination.
