I know this is a very old comment but I just can’t go to sleep without correcting a very important point, and I really need to go to sleep. She did not in fact show that goblins are human, which they aren’t they’re goblins, she showed something much more important (and true) that they are PEOPLE. This is an extremely important distinction.

ah a very big erin chapter, very nice, i suppose we wont have another one for some time.

and my dullahan boy, lol he was really desperate, i still dont know if they have sexual organs, or if they can take off their armor/skin…. i would imagine that if they keep magic nerves and “it” could be taken off, then they could keep their dongs inside their wives endlessly, imagine t he possibilities.

there was to it. When Erin had been mad at Olesm and searching for a way to kick his tailed behind and Lism’s, she hadn’t come up with one. But she’d had an inkling.

Someone pointed. Selys heard a gasp from the other side, and then a susurration. She held it up, her arms trembling with the weight of it. Maughin looked from side to size. Pallass’s City Watch still had their weapons

“Well, why didn’t you ask to you through, sir? Or go earlier? You can travel.”

“Liscor is an interesting place, Brilm. You should visit it. And they need more security. More funding. And more space, by all means. All these things are pressing. But for donating to young Olesm’s campaign—I think I’ll wait. Until Liscor’s most dangerous Human makes her move.”

It must be interesting to have to plan around one random human who could, at any point, do anything nobody thought of.

Erin met Venim’s gaze, and hers was suddenly electric. She glared across four hundred miles and the look in her eyes was suddenly direct. Challenging. And scornful. The Drake’s jaw tightened. He put his hand on the door to do just that.

The more serious and threatening side of Erin, she’s a menace when she wants to be but sometimes I think she can get in over her own head and cause herself trouble.

But if there was any time to be proud, it was now. They might be Antinium. But they were Liscor’s Antinium, damn it!

Erin really is diabolical in the best ways, of course she’d find a way to pit people against a walled city on the side of the antinium, not to mention the other things she’s achieved this chapter.

“Tier 6 did you say? Moore, hear Sir Grimalkin out. I happen to have newfound appreciation for his philosophy…”

I agree with Pisces, I too am appreciating Grimalkin more and more, I hope he continues to get featured in chapters more.

“…Because she’s her.”

Erin Solstice, Protector of Goblins, Friend of the Antinium, Enemy of Raskghar, Slayer of Skinner and Hero of Liscor. The Honored One.

Grimalkin did say he can store mana in his muscles, so it’s very possible he has a larger supply of mana than a typical mage. Considering both Pisces and Ceria seem to be able to charge the door at least once without completely draining their mana, he should be able to more than that just based on his higher level. If he can store extra mana reserves, then charging the door numerous times seems plausible, especially since those weren’t all occurring at the same time – he had time in between to regenerate his mana supply at least somewhat.

As far as needing hundreds of mages to charge the door before, two points. One, they brought through quite a number of people within a very short span of time, meaning no time for those mages to regen mana. Point two, those mages were probably not all that high level, likely between perhaps 10 and 20 for most. Most normal soldiers don’t seem to get to exceptionally high levels. So each of those mages could maybe recharge the door once, if they could even do a full recharge.

It likely doesn’t do much other than let people decide naturally, unless a Skill or class is developed from something. We’ve seen people use both “gelato” and “ice cream” when talking about the same stuff without any issues. Reasonably, one term or the other would probably start becoming more popular, and then become the “official” term for something.

Unlike Earth, Innworld has had global idea exchange basically forever, via Message spells. Assuming Common was the first and only spoken language for the entire world from the beginning, there wouldn’t be nearly as much language drift as we have had on Earth. You’d have new words and phrases popping up, sure, but you wouldn’t have people separated long enough to form wholly new languages because of lack of contact. Everyone already speaks Common, so everyone learns Common.
