Is he that wrong though? Like during the siege The Grand Queen literally wanted Liscor to fall so they could “save them”. The Free Queen and Klbkch are somewhat trustworthy, but it’s not just about them.

The antinium ARE a potential threat from the viewpoint of a citizen of Liscor and it would create more jobs and money to build the walls themselves rather than giving the work to the hive.

It is a shame Olesm changed sides, but he also caused Lism to, in some ways, improve on his ways rather than campaigning solely to spite Krshia, it’s just a shame that bigoted part of him is still there.

Very unlikely. The new apartment Selys bought would have been a decently upscale one. Someone that was on the brink of getting evicted for not affording rent is not likely to be renting somewhere so expensive. Or, considering it was mentioned ed the price had nearly tripled in two years, if they were that close to being evicted they would have moved to a cheaper place. Moving from an expensive place to a cheaper one is always possible; moving from an already cheap to an even cheaper one isn’t, especially when there are no other cheaper places.

Besides that, it sounded like Selys had to pay the old tenant for them to leave. Which would make sense, she’s essentially buying out their lease. That should give them enough money to find another place.

Gotta agree with this. Olesm not wanting to go with Krshia’s idea because of his fear of the Antinium is fine. We, as readers, can see that he’s pretty well into the wrong for that, but in his eyes, it would certainly make sense.

Putting his support behind someone that literally tells him to his face that he doesn’t want to, shouldn’t have to, and won’t change his racist ways is not the smart move. Lism doesn’t want what’s best for the city, he wants what he thinks is best for drakes, and basically drakes alone.

Olesm should have either gone for an entirely different candidate, or just brought in Jeiss and Alonna by themselves.

If the hive becomes larger and the grand queens thinks they could take liscor it could become dangerous.
I would still vote for Krishia, if she makes a new agreement with the Antinium.
