I’ve seen some complaining in the comments about these side stories being boring, that we should go back to the main story. I must say those comments mildly annoyed me, because why are you not appreciating these side plots? But on the other hand that’s also the exact reason I had stopped reading myself xD

Well, I guess sometimes you just gotta give things their time. It can be annoying when you’re reading a story and then suddenly have to go through 10+ chapters until you find out what happens next. It’s annoying, but so far, whenever I decided to give these other POVs a chance, I almost always ended up enjoying them. Like I’ll start off just skimming through the chapter and suddenly I’m intrigued and start reading slowly instead. Really, the only exceptions so far have been Toren(kinda) and most of the Goblin chapters.
I still remember seeing the next 7 chapters being all some Wistram flashback—I was so annoyed… but in the end it actually became my favourite side story!

What I’m trying to say is… well, nothing. Sorry, this is basically just a beacon for myself to remember where and when I started my journey again.

For a second Umina thought the Dullahans would turn around and throw their drinks at him. But then just got up and left.

The second part is a sentence fragment, the sentences should be joined with a comma.

drinks at him, but then just got up and left.

“What the great treasure that the Forgotten Wing company had been founded on.”

I’m not this kind of leader. LOL. I’d be the Wistram student with a dunce cap in the corner until I was running the place. LOL. Not really. :) Just in my dreams.

And Venaz … well, he was dressed, but somehow, the bare-chested Minotaur seemed as fitting as clothing for him.
-> um … ouch. Too many commas, too clunky – I get what you’re trying to say, but I’m not sure that sentence can be saved.
Maybe: “And Venaz … well, he was partially dressed and for him, being bare-chested seemed as fitting as the finest clothing.”

And as someone else mentioned, fourteen is too small a number to approximate in that context.
“Just under one miilllion” is fine, because it’s a pain to type out (and read) “nine hundred and ninety eight thousand, seven hundred and sixty three.”
But it’s much easier to just say twelve or thirteen … there’s no reason to say “just under fourteen of them.”

Take a rule, put it to your thigh, and tell me a foot isn’t huge as hell.
