He’s a self righteous tyrant who wants to force the world to kneel to him. Of course he’s high on his own supply and his ego probably can’t handle knowing that there’s a world of classless people whom could demolish his kingdom with little effort. Similar to Magnolia, though she’s far far better (at least she wants peace even if it’s forced down peoples’ throats) whom also seems to be a tyrant at heart.

She’s a teenager stranded on another world. She may have some form of stockholm syndrome. It’d be odd if she didn’t have affection for him.

A couple of people can’t be everywhere at once, therefore it is pretty useless if their usage is so ridiculously small. I do hope it never comes to this … it would kind of destroy a lot of this magical world and I think even too many phones and computers “nibble“ at the fantasy created in my mind. String People out of Kevlar would just be awesome though. (as long as they stay sane and refrain from rampages)

One doesn’t simply kill 20+ kings and rule an entire continent through force or submission and not be genocidal lol

he seems to forget that his logic applies to him as well, he could copy the shit?
and wouldnt the others not get levels once in contact?,
u would wonder if detonating a warhead would grant a whole lot of levels, xp farm to lv 100 speedrun baby.

I think it’s a magic std (most of the strong ones are from what we’ve been told) so it’s probably not earth based, just an std that grew strong enough to survive healing

I’ve said this in a couple other comments, but the biggest reason the Innworlders aren’t as scared of Earth technology as they should be is simply because they don’t get it explained to.them in ways they can actually comprehend. Thefew times people have been shown to explain guns, for example, they try and explain them how they appear to be. Things that can shoot very quickly, hit things very hard, don’t take much skill to use, etc.

But they’ve never had the experience of Innworld to say something like, “Imagine a crossbow that can shoot 100 bolts per minute, without having to reload after each shot, can fire those boots from a mile away and still be accurate, and each bolt is simultaneously a [Power Shot], [Piercing Shot], [Long-range Shot], and enchanted to have a small [Explosive Shot] effect, without actually having to use any of those skills. And then imagine an army the size of the Goblin King’s, where every soldier has multiple weapons that can do that. Now imagine 5 armies of that size being able to be fielded immediately, all at the same time, as soon as war between our worlds starts, while another dozen armies even larger are pulled together.”

Basically, both sides of the conversation don’t have the context to properly describe what it would be like.

As well, someone more knowledgeable would have some pretty easy counters to Flos’ ideas. Mars can survive a ballista shot, but how many can she stop? 5? 10? 50? Could she stop a bunker buster missile? Can she defend the entire rest of the army from those kinds of attacks, if we ignore firing directly at her?

How far away can your pyromancer stop combustion? Can he stop it when artillery is fired from 10 miles away? Can he stop it for an entire army of half a million soldiers? And once we know they can do that, even on a limited scale, what about weapons that can fire using other methods that don’t require combustion? If we snipe your mages with those, how do you then stop all the other guns from working?

Amerys could maybe stop a jet fighter. But can she stop it when it launches its payload a mile out and immediately turns around? Could she defend herself from multiple jets firing machine guns at her, if she’s flying alone in the air?

Same thing with a nuke. Are you always going to have your mages protecting you with whatever method, 24/7? From a ballistic missile fired from the middle of the ocean, that comes down nearly from space, directly on your head?

Again, it’s all about neither side having the proper context for what these weapons can do and how they actually work. The people explaining the weapons are all young and have the most rudimentary understanding of many things.

And beyond all of that, one simple factor that no one seems to have bothered to tell most of the Innworld leaders: can you stop 8 billion humans, with however little population Innworld has? In most areas, we could literally just overwhelm with numbers. And if those numbers all die… then they have to deal with millions upon millions of undead. And the more undead start to rise, the more stronger variants arise. We could, quite literally, just bury them with our dead.

Im not catholic or Muslim and I’m not defending anyone’s actions. I’m just saying that it’s really a lot more complicated than that and there where reasons a lot more valid than a disparity in belief. Not valid enough for war and killing, but you get what I’m saying.
