Not sure why after the Watch Captain Erin thinks she only knows the Assembly of Crafts politician in Pallas and completely forgot about the Greeter who showed her around for a few hours… later in this chapter Erin does think of the Greeter so it seems perhaps this is a typo (when Erin arrives and interacts with the Watch Captain).

Assuming the blades would keep their edge, some type of stone cutting board might be better with knives that sharp. Not something you’d want to use with regular knives, but could probably just use a normal, unenchanted slab of non-porous stone for the super sharpened knives.

A fee would certainly be a smart idea, but five gold is way, way too much. That’s like weeks of work for most people, simply to use the door once. 5 gold would be like yearly family vacation travel expenses.

Something like 5 silver, though, that would be more reasonable. And definitely split it so it’s not all just going to Pallass.

Not a typo but a slight discrepancy. Last chapter Drassi came in saying “Ishkr! I’m here to work! Hey—” Implying she had not shown up before then, and she was the one entering the inn as Apista was escaping. However in this chapter she is shown to already be working and inside the building before the Apista escape sequence.

There are a few “Gremalkin” rather than “Grimalkin”.

“Erin saw the little ball of peanut butter mixed with chocolate and ate one before she could help it.”

–> isn’t chocolate not a thing yet? I remember it being a big deal later on.

I hope real cultivators show up at some point. Neither warrior or mage. Balance between body and mind is the way. ??

Yeah, I think I remember one of the transplanted earthlings (maybe Erin or Ryoka?) mention that they hadn’t found or even heard of chocolate on Innworld – same with coffee.
As much as we Earth humans love our chocolate, it seems that Erin would totally be freaking out over an Innworld Reese’s Cup … especially given how much she raved over the nali-stick.
And if chocolate were at all accessible we all know that Magnolia would have copious amounts of it and would be binging on bonbon’s in every scene.
