Also i can’t wait for the five hobs in erin’s in to reunite with rags.

Tyrions exact words “You may. And now that the Goblins are in place…the Chieftains have kept their tribes together. But they’re no longer needed. We only require the Goblin Lord.”that’s as explicit as it gets lmao

You forget one thing: Teriarch wasn’t in his cave in the high passes until very recently, and there is no reason why Tyrion would have even a single idea he was there.

Teriarch didn’t start using that cave until Erin appeared in his old one, which was much closer to Liscor, and likely not really even in the high passes themselves at all (or she would have almost certainly died when she ran from the cave).

Tyrion should also have no knowledge of Velan’s treasure. No one knows why he went to the high passes, and a treasure might be one guess as to why, but that is all it is: a guess with no basis whatsoever.

The monsters there wouldn’t only attack the goblins, they’d attack humans as well. And if he didn’t keep his own forces close enough to push all the goblins into the passage, thousands of them would just spread put along the mountains and get away. He’d have to keep portions of his forces in constant danger to push the goblins through. This would also create a choke point the goblins could use to stop the humans from flanking them, enabling much of them to flee south and get away.

The monsters also wouldn’t stay away forever, so unless they plan on reinforcing and holding that passage forever after, it wouldn’t do much.

Rags is definitely one of my favourite characters. Might become the favourite with more content.
But the G chapters are hard to read with so much heartbreak and death.
Hope to see her in a more relaxed setting.

Her growth and learning is such a familiar process! I mean, it hurts to look and see, but who hasn’t gone through an eye for an eye phase at some point in their life? Honestly? We might have been 8 years old at the time, but we still had to handle that growth arc. I think many people are disguising their eye for an eye mindset in adulthood unconsciously and they don’t recognize what they’re doing. Important and well written, in my opinion!

I prefer Rags story over any other, i’m actually disappointed when chapters don’t feature her or the other more serious pov’s. Anything not Erin dreamland i guess, ik she’s the main character, but i just don’t enjoy her pov’s since book 5 started.
