Just because the inhabitants believe it to be flat doesn’t mean it actually is.

The only “evidence” they have for the world being flat is The Edge Of The World, which is a (relatively) small area in only one section of the world. None of the others areas of the world apparently lead to this Edge.

Adding on to this, even experienced doctors often have a hard time diagnosing autism. Sometimes it’s not too difficult, but other times people aren’t diagnosed until way late in life, having grown up without anyone even really suspecting it.

Bird also doesn’t show a lot of the classic symptoms that humans display, either. He’s sociable, doesn’t really seem to have any major issues speaking to people. He doesnt really throw tantrums, or try and self-harm when ovdrstimulated. He’s childlike, but that can be easily explained by him being, what, a year or two old? Most of which was spent underground, not interacting with anyone.

“What do you think they ran into in there?”

“At a guess? Two adventuring teams, a unit of Painted Soldiers and Workers, Hobgoblins, and Erin.”

Zevara stared down at the inn.

“That would do it.”

Erin, the most dangerous part.

Also, I knew it would be a massive stretch for Calruz to be perfectly sane after all this but man, I still had some hope.

I don’t think they can hold the horns accountable, it isn’t like it’s their fault that Calruz went insane and became a unofficial boss monster

nope, can very much still be a disk or a square. With magic, anything is possible, and with god the laws of physics do not apply.

I still, foolishly, hoped that Calruz wasn’t insane, but had some other motive I didn’t yet know about. We shall see, I guess… I hope he can be salvaged.

“Bird’s got a lock on the door”

A probable inconstancy rather than a typo. In 5.36, Lyonette said
“A lock’s too much to work with, Erin. And Bird will forget the key. Why not just make it a door bar?”
Later on Erin is talking with Klbkch about “barricading windows and making a door bar”, so I thought she had taken Lyonette’s suggestion.
