His tribe died, it was by the half seekers, that wasn’t a problem, the first tribe it’s talking about is the halfseekers who he betrayed, also while we haven’t been told the reason, he was in the drake army which means he’s gone on extermination missions and has seen what goblins can Do, there are plenty of reasons to hate goblins in this world

That applies to sieges where you survive the constant battle and profit, this was one destructive battle that got a cheep out ending (in terms of fighting, not bad writing), that’s the type of battle that reduces strength rather than grows it when more people die than people level (the city did come out relatively fine but they only had the magic stream so he doesn’t know that)

At the end of the day the necromancer was one dude and we keep getting told levels beat strength (except the rashkgar but we don’t know what’s up with them, hell they probably do have levels just the red ones) he was a challange that the world can beat, an army of goblins is scarier because they level alongside the defenders

They don’t have to, but it’s his plan for it to happen

Zel is almost entirely a defensive general. Tyrion is obviously an offensive lord. They are going to have vastly different skill sets.

Zel’s skills enabled a very disparate, levied army to hold out against a force of goblins and zombies of much greater numbers, in a fight on an open field with essentially zero fortifications or defenses, in terrain the humans were not trained well to fight in. He also had almost no other high level commanders helping him: the forces sent to Magnolia were the dregs left after most people chose to send support to Tyrion.

Tyrion did NOT move that many people that far. He moved a relatively small group of mounted forces large distances, yes, but he also didn’t do so alone – we see specifically one of the other commanders using movement skills as well at the same time. He had to leave the vast majority of his forces to catch up later, because they were not mounted.

Zel’s skills are designed to Hold The Line, which is exactly what we see him doing. His skills let weak, low level humans take hits from hobgoblins that should have literally crushed them.

Tyrion’s are designed to create an extremely fast, mobile force that goes in the attack. Which, again, is exactly what we see. They go in, strike hard, and they get out.

Goblins wouldn’t matter normally, but if Tyrion rounds up essentially all of the goblins that are being interacted with right now, he’d have a force of over 100,000 of them. Plus a Goblin Lord that can raise tens of.thousands of undead. That’s not a small amount.

Over 100,000 pieces of cannon fodder to soften up Liscor, and then an army of roughly the same size of humans to finish the job. Plus, possibly siege weapons courtesy of Laken the Racist Genocidal Emperor.

As far as Garen’s tribe, Graydath was referring to the Halfseekers. He left his birth tribe early enough that he basically grew up entirely alone, so the Halfseekers became his “first” tribe.

It’s surprising you like Laken, but dislike Relc for their hatred of goblins. Laken has only lost some villagers to goblins. Relc had his wife and numerous friends killed by them, including probably the best friend he’s ever had in Klbkch.

Probably wrong of me… I just hope it isn’t Lady Bevia, whom I at least respected, if not liked.
