There would probably have been quite a few if they were normal goblins, but 5 hobgoblins would be a big threat to most normal people. Most of the hotheaded idiots who would do something like this in the first place would probably be put off by them being hobs.

As well, even if they are angry and typically hate goblins, I imagine a lot of the more sane people have the same thought as Relc did: just about the only goblins they can be 100% sure didn’t attack Zel would be the ones in the inn. Especially if those people knew Zel still went to the inn after the goblins arrived, and never came to harm from them. They may have even less inclination to visit the inn, now, but at least the goblins there are mostly “out of sight, out of mind” and relatively “safe,” all things considered.

Murder and Sexual assault are NOT “because of being different”.

Those are choices made. Responsibility taken? No. Morality intact? NO!

I’m tired of people acting like they’re being targeted for being different when it’s their choices that brings to question everything they do.

Here Erin is trying to convince Lyonette and Mrsha that she’s been acting this whole time when in fact she hasn’t? Even through the storytelling, it’s pretty clear Erin hasn’t been “acting”. A lie. She’s quite delusional if she thinks what she’s said is true. Or probably one of those people that does something and says whatever mess comes of their choices was the plan all along.
