His personality definitely shattered after the village raid but that’s clearly intentional

The hero class actually seems to operate off of others perceptions rather than ones own, or maybe we just saw a flawed logic where clown viewed himself as heroic (which he was) and attributed it to the others which generates a bit of a false feedback loop, his perception of their perception forms his perception of the class despite their perception not mattering

Just prince would work, royalty titles are all trades unless it’s something really exotic, like our new emperors witch general might be a new class

People finds clowns scary because of the Uncanny Valley effect. Same thing with stuff like dolls. They are just different enough from “normal” that it creates dissonance in our brains.

The reason you likely don’t find the “slasher clown” trope to be scary is because movies and television tend to over exaggerate the look of said clown enough that it falls out of the Uncanny Valley region. By doing so, it removes much of the fear. They essentially just become a normal character in a costume.

I’d argue they are very different.

Red classes are going to be classes that are either forced upon someone (I.e. Slave) or otherwise gained unwillingly or due to some negative action. These can be removed by a ruler because a ruler can declare someone to not be something: they can free you from slavery, or give you a place if you are an [Outcast], etc.

Red skills, on the other hand, are negative conditions. They are something that needs to be treated. You can’t just declare someone not be insane anymore, or tell them they don’t have an unending hunger.

I think the class enables him to disassociate, and he subconsciously uses that in social situations.

If he learns to accept violence as sometimes apppropriate, and learns to only disassociate for battle, he’ll become a terror on the battlefield. Or (more likely) every assassin’s worst nightmare.

YES! I was actually hoping he could gain the berserker class and lose the insane clown class if he gains control over the voice in his head and then ultimately banishes it as he clearly doesn’t need to be efficient in killing the demons especially when defending the innocent. I think it would be fantastic if he could regain his hero levels and dual class it with the berserker class!

They aren’t child friendly, nor ‘peacefull’ so, listen to them on your own discretion:

1. INSANE CLOWN POSSE (ICP) – Falling Apart
2. Karliene – Become the Beast – A Hannibal Fan Song
3. Twiztid-unstoppable
4. Diorama Prozac Junkies
5. Diorama – Hope
6. Michelle Gurevich – Drugs Saved My Life
7. They’re Coming to Take me Away” by Napoleon XIV <- this song alywas make me remember Freaky Fred from Courage- the coward dog (the cartoon)
8. Sopor Aeternus "No One Is There"
9. Emilie Autumn – My Fairweather Friend
10. Opheliac – Emilie Autumn
11. Siouxsie And The Banshees – Face To Face
12. some songs from the musicar Repo! The genetic opera
13. SKYND Feat. Jonathan Davis 'Gary Heidnik'
14. Diary of Dreams – The Luxury of Insanity

The list can continue..

Thanks for writing!
