If Ryoka actually turns out to be dead, I’ll be really annoyed. Normally I like it when characters are killed off in non-standard ways, but Ryoka’s plot line was the only one I really cared about in this story. Okay, I do of course care about Erin as well, but she’s stupid, so I can’t really identify with her.
Well, regardless of whether Ryoka will live or not, I hope we’ll get some more magic in the future. The fairy magic seemed very intriguing and Ryoka seemed to be naturally gifted at magic, so I was very excited for that plot line. But I did like Wistram Days as well, so really, any kind of magic related counted would be appreciated. Maybe some Black Mage chapters.

It’s actually heavily indicated otherwise. It’s already been mentioned that mortals would be punished for killing a faerie. It stands to reason that the king wouldn’t then kill a fairie out of hand, even if she did break the rules. She would rather be retrieved and the circumstances considered before a decision was made.
