I believe it was mentioned that the size of the slime core determined the size of the slime itself. The core Erin used was tiny, so unless it manages to make its core significantly larger, I don’t think it would be too much of an issue.

That’s also likely why there are no lake sized slimes and whatnot. Hard to get a core of a big enough size for that to happen.
