It never fails. I finish reading a chapter and think to myself, “wow, Pirateaba really outdid herself here. This is incredible” then the first comment is Pirateaba herself apologizing for “unsatisfactory writing.”

But there’s an even worse alternative that no one considered. It could be a containment dungeon- one that needs to be this bad in order to contain whatever’s down there.

At the very least “clubbing the handsy idiot who just goosed you into unconsciousness with whatever you’re holding” skill is likely to be on the list at high enough levels. :)
