The company has another service they can offer both sides. She gets protection, people, and most importantly can stay neutral since her company is neutral in any battle.

And if they think that helping the doctor patching bodies will be any different that hauling corpses, well, they in for a ride. tfc

I just wanted to mention a little typo in a Japanese phrase in Ken´s line “We should—???????! Apply compress—”. Here is a link to the Word document I made after I realised Japanese characters can´t be depicted in the comments:

I´m looking very forward to furture contents and wish you good health + all the best :)

Many were probably killed during the centaur raid. Anyone else surviving probably either went back to the companies they were originally with, or left the merc business entirely – most were her former patients, so likely weren’t fully healed enough to continue fighting.

It probably wouldn’t be that easy.

Pisces could almost certainly fix the bones themselves. The spine would be a bit trickier than a leg, but I could see him getting it done.

The hard part would be the nerves. Healing potions should nominally be able to fix nerves… but I don’t know if they could regrow them properly once the vertebrae were fixed. Depending on the damage there, the nerves could.must be completely gone, and whatever Pisces would have to do to fix the bones would probably screw them up even more, if they were still there at all.

There is also a lot of nerves there, and those aren’t typically nerves that can be healed easily by the body. Healing potions mostly work by accelerating natural processes, so if the body didn’t have enough left to work with, even a high grade potion may not work. You’d likely need the bones fixed, and then an actual high level healing spell like from that mage in Tenbault – magic that would bypass standard bodily healing and having real, magical results.

I don’t know if you remembered but at the end of the last chapter the company was practically massacred, hence why she’s doing things solo now.

Things like “american young men” and “human young women” should actually be “young american men” and “young human women.” Not sure if you’re not a native english speaker, but there’s an odd quirk about adjective order that isn’t in some languages, as I understand it (e.g. “my greek fat big wedding” sounds horrible, but “my big fat greek wedding” sounds correct to native speakers).

This link gives a decent enough explanation. Love your work!

I’m not sure what’s going to happen but I’m sure it will be riveting, always good story. Take care of yourself, fingers and health.
