and true mage being flinged to much for what amounts to voluntary assisted suicide
For what should be the concentration of “free” thinking-research-development in the world, they sure are hard headed, but i suppose they fill the role of an artillery piece quite nicely.

The ice protected it. No shot that book isn’t finding it’s way to Ceria someday, somehow.

From a certian perspective there’s a debt owed by one of flos’s kings, it may matter or it may not but it exists

You are a mean person, a great writer though

Agreed, that felt like pointless salt in the wound. I can’t really fathom how that will be worked into later plot developments, since that’s pretty insignificant by the present day in Ceria’s life :/

She lived on Terandria prior to going to Wistram, where half-elves are intensely disliked. It would have likely been hard for her to find a decent team of adventurers to stick with – probably a lot of one-off teams that did a guild request and then kicked her out, or even a lot of places where she wasn’t allowed to take any requests.

She also didn’t have a teacher, so she likely spent a long, long time puzzling out her spells by herself.

Overall, her years of experience at bronze rank was probably way less useful than the few years she spent with the Horns before the Liscor dungeon.

That bothered me, too, but I think we’ll have to give the author some grace and let small plot holes slide.
