I was more worried he was going to come upon her and kill her before she could get back to the inn. Since he got his mana from Erin, he might hesitate to kill her immediately, but he has no reason to keep Lyonette alive.

Toren, Erin, Liscor and the Horns are so much more compelling than the boring world politics. A shame that Ryoka didn’t get the character developement I wished for and that everything about Magnolia is not nearly as interesting as the local issues. I guess I have to downgrade her from my favourite to least favourite and hope that we don’t get fewer grand game type chapters.

Sorry, I am incapable of seeing/hearing “Would you like something to eat?” without automatically mentally finishing “Would you like to learn to fly? Would you like to see me try?” etc. I have come to deeply dread the phrase… .
