Tired? Never! I’m always sad when good stories end, and I’m so glad I’ve just begun this journey.

That the flowers were just supposed to be thrown away certainly tracked, for me. Just another example of Erin making lemonade from lemons, like with the acid flies and getting both a sellable food and a weapon from harvesting them.

But why was Erin’s first taste just having her think she was tiny and then freaking out? She didn’t see dead people or have a happy memory.
That said, people who lost loved ones would likely get addicted and willing to pay any price. If I could see my dearly departed husband again I would be unable to resist trying it at least once.

I can see it going both ways. It will be a “wild card” factor, I suspect. I was much more worried about it until Erin’s conversation with Magnolia. And I am glad Magnolia is unaware of this development, for now.

Funnily enough, I started reading this story after first subscribing to the subreddit! Stories of Inns have always interested me.

I’ve said previously, but if it’s just showing good memories, then that’s gonna be more addictive than any controlled substance around. To literally let one experience a time where they were happy, or like they were. Heartbreaking and intriguing.

As someone else pointed out, I’m not sure that it’s a bad thing though. It might do something a little different and help them mend wounds. We’ll see.

So last weekend I had a similar experience… THC + Caffeine + a bunch of mixed drinks. It wasn’t so much happy juice as it was not being able to tell reality from visions and dreams. I slept a whole day following that and still the effects took a second day to clear up. Maybe a 1/4 of each of the above would give that effect but it was quite difficult to focus while I was in the company of friends. Not being able to tell what’s real and what’s not is a crazy experience, so would not do that again!
