Her parents, they are both warriors and guarding the [Miners], yes? We must watch her and she is very interested in you, I think.”

Need a retcon here…

this was a really good chapter

I feel iffy about the faeries, especially that deal there at the end. I liked their relationship with Erin because it was more transactional and stable, but I have no idea what those stories are worth to the Faeries, so I can’t guage their relations to Ryoka.

I mean one cried, but what happens if Ryoka decides to not share them anymore?

Also it’s been heavily implied the Faeries have visited their world, but this chapter gave the confirmation we needed, so it was really satisfying, while also raising a lot of questions.

These Faeries have directly went to Earth, and left it in favor of this world. There are also other worlds too.

How did they switch between them so easily?

We know from an earlier chapter in book 1 that it took a massive summoning spell by an unknown(?) force to bring all those humans over. Maybe trying to fish for that elusive aforementioned [Hero] Class.

It could be that the Faeries just have enough magic to do that but that explanation feels so weird. There must be other ways to leave this world and go back to the other one

Although I do think Ryoka prefers this one over the other world

First, they harass Ceria for the crime of having parents of slight different races.

Then Ryoka steps in to defend her and they harass her too. In any culture I can imagine, defending the weak is a virtue.

They should get no coddling, no favors, and definitely no apologies. By any social and cultural rule I can concieve, they are the wrong doers.

Ryoka gave them stories that will last throughout the ages. Both chapters were absolutely lovely and there are some of my favorites as I continue to read on. ?

Ryoka is one of my favorite characters so far and I love seeing her interact with others like this. Especially earning some favor with the fairies was nice as well.

Not by spell or any kind of magic you know. But by a ship. A wondrous ship, made of metal and glass. It carried the boy through the air, higher than mountains and further than the furthest sea, across worlds, through space.

Damn, girl’s pretty good at porting this stuff to local terminology, huh?

At least they have reduced it to bothering, and hey she may still get a monster free run if the fairys want to protect their new story source

Dear PirateAba,

I want you to know I felt the Holy Spirit of inspiration in this chapter and it moved me to tears in a way my soul has desperately needed. And reminded me of who I am and what I want to do.
I thank you from the very bottom of my heart, and should God ever bless me with the chance to meet you, or if by a stroke of divine providence, he raises my career in music and story telling to a level where you might recognize my name, Jason Guerrero, pray you will allow me the friendship of treating you to some pupusas. It is the very least I could do for this bit of heart medicine.

God bless you, friend.
