Is it really on the goblins though? I mean, they’re obviously butchered by every other race as a matter of course, so doesn’t that somewhat abdicate any moral high ground that so-called enlightened races might have had.

He is abusive, especially to erin. He is ungrateful and untrustworthy. Tbh, I would jave been happy if gazi killed him back then

It’s probably just magic missle, which is a common fantasy spell

Not to mention they evolved to explode, just like the arsonist tree in Australia that makes the perfect conditions for a forest fire and happens to be fireproof (to a reasonable degree), it burns the brush and other trees in order to fertilize the ground for it’s seeds, reduce competition, etc.

But remeber how wide spread goblins are, they might not have the direct context but with so many view points they could construct most things in history better than some historians, you might not know what caused the battle but you see who fought it, where they came from, how it went, what they did after the fact, how the world changed because of it, goblin history is insane if the goblin has the abillity to gain context from the memories

A bunch of three year old goblins just reverse engineered, redesigned and iterated crossbows to better fit their needs and capabilities in just a few hours.

Bit of a correction, but goblins would have more insight into goblin history. Which, really, is mostly going to be goblins getting killed. Anything not involving goblins wouldn’t be in their racial memory, so it would give a pretty skewed view of a lot of things.

Also, this world is old. Really, really old. Tens of thousands of years old. History on Earth starts getting pretty sketchy and inaccurate not even a thousand years ago, and beyond that we have only fragments most of the time. It’s actually quite surprising how much history Innworld actually does know about.

New reader, but still: That seems to be the hilarious thing, with all these ruins about. Say you care about history because something grand once existed . . . goblins wiping people out have more insight into history than people wiping them out.
