Time to be annoying again, rabbits liking carrots is a myth created solely by bugs bunny, they enjoy things more like cabbages, etc

Also I heard carrot cake is less about carrot and more about spices, so it’s more likely Hawk the Hare wouldn’t like carrot cake and call it horrible solely off of the misaligned expectations of it tasting like a carrot, after all the taste comes from mostly spices not carrots

AS much as it is a delight to read Erin’s shenanigans ,sometimes I forget how she has the survival instincts of a toddler which are none basically .

It was liscor who made them, they have the maps of all the tombs and the guardians, that’s not an explorer’s map, that’s a building plan which liscor is holding, and while it wasn’t it draconian or English it was a drake who wrote the warning about the skinner

It would be nice for a bit of clearing up on a rewrite/edit, but the two situations are fairly different.

To heal Ryoka’s leg, Pisces had to be physically touching her, and was really only pulling bone shards together and fusing them into a whole bone. He wasn’t “controlling” her so much as he was magically pushing and prodding bits. It’s also possible that this wasn’t so much “necromancy” itself, but rather a pure application of magic, or something closer to real healing magic.

Trying to manipulate bones directly in something living, akin to how he might control a skeleton, would be quite different. Not only would it be remote control rather than being in direct contact, but I imagine that living beings would have some sort of natural resistance to necromantic magic, just by virtue of being alive. This would also help explain why he can’t just use his neck-twisting magic on living people, but only on undead.

In addition to this, “checking archives” really isn’t a fast process, often, especially if you don’t know exactly what you are looking for. They could have been doing research this whole time, and its entirely plausible the info took a full month or however long it had been to actually find.

There’s also a good chance that there wouldn’t have even been any records at all, depending on when the ruins were last known of and when Liscor was founded. This world is old, as in tens of thousands of years old. Our Earth hardly has any verifiable records from even a thousand or so years ago, let alone multiple thousands.

HS1 – Mating Rituals
Chapter between B2.14 and 15.
Do not know if Book 2 posted here is rewritten or archived but the mention doesn’t match-up with the chronology.
Anyway! Culyss is a Drake Erin tried to date after discussing sex life with Krshia and Selys (who set up Erin to meet a Drake and a Gnoll).

Culyss was … let’s say Drake’s way of virility is often through their tails ^^

I know regeneration is gonna be reserved for like the cream of the crop in this world, but I do hope Ceria one day gets to have her hand back fully.

Skinner only being a “lesser” guardian of these ruins certainly isn’t unexpected, but it’s still a very interesting twist to have come so early. Would have expected the bit about the rest of the ruins and their guardians to have come once Toren finds his (it? their?) way back
