Not every kind of dust is combustible. It also generally needs to be stirred up in the air in sufficient quantities to do so. The “regular” dust you’d have laying around from the passage of time is going to mostly be on surfaces, and isn’t likely to be highly combustible. There might be some danger, but it wouldn’t be close to something like grain dust in a silo, or particulate in a mine/factory, etc. where many of those types of explosions are seen.

Maybe people use “Gods” as a shorthand for “Dead Gods” when shocked. i mean everyone would know what it means in context anyways.
