They had come to kill a lone Human, however dangerous she might be, not fight deadly insect-monsters and their own kind.
* insect-monster-death

Notes: Oof, re-reading this still hits hard. The Antinium sacrificed so much for Erin.

I thought he will stick along longer or hoped his demise will be more epic and grandeur then this. Tsk

But he’d used her potion.
But he’d used his potion on her. (it was never Erin’s potion)

Her heart was bursting out of her lungs
Her heart was bursting out of her chest

Erin was really only up against a few, not the whole mass of 40, and didn’t really even knock any out of the fight permanently. She honestly wasn’t that much of a threat to them, even if she wanted to be.

Klbkch was not only fighting all of them, but having to protect Erin as well. He took at least two attacks that would have hit her if he had dodged. Besides that, even if they are weak individually, fighting 40 of anything by yourself would be tough, especially if they showed even a modicum of tactics like the goblins do. That he could take out 30-odd in those circumstances is pretty crazy.
