Not the words of a king. The words of a bandit. A robber. A *rapist*. “I *can* claim it, and I *do*, and you cannot stop me. Therefore it is mine.”

Seeing the kingdom wake up, and the king and his servants have their hope and inner fire relighted and restored was beautiful and exciting. It had me cheering… until he said this. And it all instantly turned to ash and disgust.

This guy needs to *die*. Yesterday.

A true king MUST be bound by righteousness and mercy higher than himself, or he is no king. He is nothing but a tyrant.

Teases about how classes work, how scary levels are while simultaneously being limited, and gives the reader the start of a baseline for the upcoming chapters. Because what I remember of the beginning of the story is how hard it is for the reader to understand threat levels. We don’t have danger sense, and have only a tiny amount of context for strengths.
